Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized clinical care with a primary focus on infectious diseases.
- Prescribe and administer innovative medications, therapies, and treatments tailored to individual patient needs.
- Monitor patient conditions and progress, ensuring optimal care outcomes through continuous reevaluation.
- Manage and treat a diverse range of health issues, from common ailments to complex illnesses.
- Develop and update clinical guidelines for infectious diseases, including HIV, Hepatitis C, Tuberculosis, PrEP, and nPEP.
- Collaborate within a team-driven environment to enhance patient care and improve community health outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with completion of an Infectious Disease Fellowship.
- Current Texas medical licensure.
- Valid and current DEA License.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in infectious disease practice.
- Proficiency in Spanish is preferred, enhancing accessibility and care in diverse populations.
